Keen's Curry updates a heritage icon.
When iconic brand Keen's Curry announced a plan to modernise, Hard Hat reviewed 2 years' worth of Keen's website user activity to inform a smarter rebuild and leverage the hot spots to spearhead the brand's new direction. Hard Hat gleaned the data, and in the process arrived at a valuable insight that now forms the corner stone of Keen's online message. Visitors were craving recipes and usage suggestions, so we delivered with a recipe rich and user-generated content model to enlighten and engage information hungry consumers.
keenscurry.com.au dives straight from the home page into recipe after recipe and asks users to submit their own ideas - thus sparking conversation and seeding brand loyalty. Hard Hat understood that the new site had to look and feel as contemporary as the new brand positioning, and delivered a beautifully designed site with fluid navigation and mouth-watering photography. Capitalising on the Internets inherent capacity to stimulate user engagement, we also extended the brand's penetration through the suitable use of social media recipe sharing and the peer-endorsement of Facebook 'Like'. Keen's Curry now enjoys relevance and connection thanks to a harder working website and strategic social media presence.
